                                                                                MESSAGE FROM OUR OWNER:

Thank you for being interested in the houston hurricanes volleyball club. It is my honor to serve our community through club volleyball. I am a native of San Antonio, TX, graduating from sam houston high school, in 2004. I used sports to help me navigate through life and earn a volleyball scholarship to prairie view a&m university. I was able to accomplish some great things during my athletic career. I was able to be part of the 2006 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) championship team. in 2007, I was part of the SWAC Volleyball Western Division championship team. I graduated pvamu in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and 2011 with a Masters of Science in Juvenile Forensic Psychology. I was inducted into the PVAMU Sports Hall of Fame in 2017. I am now a Special Education Teacher, Head Volleyball Coach at C.E. King High School, and Director of the Houston Hurricanes Volleyball Club.

 

I have to give a special thanks to my parents (Theresa & Harold Walker and Sherman & Tanya harrison), my siblings Crystal, Earl, Deon, & Sean) ,and coaches (Emarie Randle, Charlotte Jones, Courtney Davis, Alicia Pete, and Emil Chuidian) that pushed me along the way, supporting and believing in me. Thank you!

 

I strive to give back to my community by creating a sports organization that will provide mentorship, support, family, and love to our young athletes.
