What does the registration fee cover?
All registration fees pay for the operation of training. They cover practice top*, liability/medical/property insurance, facility/field rentals, site directors/officials and other administrative expenses.
*Practice T-shirt Included.
Is there a discount for multiple children?
We purposely price our registration fee substantially lower than our competitors in order to make our program affordable for everyone.

You will receive an email confirmation from our director.
Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?
There are NO REFUNDS
How long is each season?
We will operate in seasons( i.e. Winter I):Season length is can vary in length, but is generally 5 weeks long.
Check with league website for season dates.
What should I bring to practice?
Parents are encouraged to always bring knee pads, practice attire, bottled water for use during the practices.
How do I find out if practice is cancelled?
Generally, practice cancellations will be announced via email, text, team app or Facebook. Please be sure to like us on Facebook.
Weather may cause cancellation. It is up to each individual facility whether we may use their facilties during bad weather. Contact your Youth League Director about cancelled practices.
Will there be a makeup practices if it is cancelled due to the weather?
We will do our best to make up any cancelled practices. However, as we are renting our courts, several factors are out of our control and re-scheduling may not always be possible.
Who will be coaching my child’s team?
Houston Hurricanes Volleyball coaches will train your athlete.
How to volunteer to be a Coach:
- Sign up on the registration page.
- Select the drop down box marked Volunteer Coach when registering online.
Will we provide any coaching materials?
Yes. We want you to have a positive coaching experience. Practice guides and rules can be found online and issued to each coach.
Coach packets will be distributed at the Uniform Passout Event. Check the website for dates and locations for this event. Coach packet content vary by age group, but generally contain:
- Practice packet
- Rules
- Code of Conduct paperwork
- Photo order information
PRACTICE
How will my child be grouped?
Your child will be grouped with others that are similiar in skill level and grade.
What are the practice schedules?
Each player will have 1 hour and a half practices per week. Practice times 6p-7:30p. Practice days are Monday (3rd-4th grade) and Wednesday (5th-6th grade)
What will be our practice facility?
CE King HS.
Do I need to purchase any equipment?
Yes. Each player is provided a practice shirt. Players will be required to wear black volleyball shorts, proper court shoe, and kneepads which is the parent's responsibility to purchase.
